I hold a Ph.D. in Geospatial Science & Engineering from South Dakota State University and have experience in both academic and industry settings. At Mount Royal University, I teach geospatial science courses, emphasizing the development of students’ spatial thinking and practical skills to analyze spatial data and address complex environmental challenges.
Research
My work focuses on sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and large-scale environmental monitoring, leveraging multi-temporal, multi-sensor satellite imagery to track environmental and landscape change. It informs the sustainable management of human activities—agriculture, forestry, and urban development—while promoting conservation.
