Develop confidence and build skills for your job search in TVP's EA2
If you are a graduate of the Transitional Vocational Program's (TVP's) Employment Preparation Certificate, you have an opportunity to refresh your job search skills and be supported in a work placement with our new EA2 program. EA2 — short for Employment Assistance 2 — is a special offering that starts in September. Offered to eight qualified applicants, EA2 is delivered by TVP.
EA2 is open to graduates of the Employment Preparation Program or previous participants in the Employment Assistance course. EA2 starts on campus on September 5, 2023 and runs Monday to Fridays through the end of April 2024. As an EA2 student, you will receive a refresher on the job search process as well as support with your job search and placement. We’ll be there for you, too, with support at your worksite.
In EA2, you will:
- learn to identify the key elements of an effective job search
- receive job training as required and support on the job site
- receive further skill development in your placement
- access the resources of the Transitional Vocational Program for job search

We will start accepting applications at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023. The first eight qualified candidates will be accepted into the program. (Those who have worked, on average, more than 20 hours per week over the past 12 weeks are not eligible to take part in EA2.)
