Unclassified Students

Unclassified Students

As an Unclassified student, you can enrol in one course without being admitted into a degree, diploma or certificate program. If you already have been admitted into a program, you cannot register as an Unclassified student.

After you register, a $75 non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee will be charged to your account. This fee applies to all Unclassified students and is in addition to your regular tuition fee.

As an Unclassified Student, you are eligible to:

  • Register in one class that has an available seat and does not have a registration restriction.
  • Maintain your unclassified status for one semester.

As an Unclassified Student, you are not eligible to:

  • Apply for scholarships, bursaries, or awards through MRU or any part-time government funding.
  • Access MRU advising services.

For information on fee payment, please refer to Money Matters.
