Meet our Admissions and Recruitment team

Our Admissions and Recruitment Specialists have designated School Boards and Districts that they oversee including Calgary, Alberta, National (across Canada) as well as International student outreach.

Please see below to find your school's Admissions and Recruitment Specialist.

Our team will continue to offer the option of either virtual or in-person presentations and admissions meetings throughout the year. If you are looking to book a presentation or service for your students, please contact your Specialist directly.

  • Fun Facts about me:
    • I completed my BA - Psychology degree at MRU with a minor in Anthropology and am a proud alum!
    • I participated in a field school where we visited an ancient Bison jump, a processing area, and other archaelogical sites in Fish Creek Park.
    • I love hiking and scrambling, and I have been on the summit of over 25 mountains.

  • Fun facts about me: 
    • I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from MRU, double-majoring in Finance and Management.
    • As a student, I grew an online business to 15,000+ Instagram followers with support from MRU’s Slate Innovation Lab.
    • I've curled for over 15 years, including at provincial competitions.

  • Fun facts about me: 
    • I’m a proud MRU alumn graduating with a BA- Sociology degree. 
    • While I was a student at Mount Royal, I worked at the Mount Royal Recreation Facility. 
    • Before working at Mount Royal, I was a medical laboratory assistant, and I drew patients' blood. I was a registered Vampire!

  • Fun facts about me: 
    • After attending two different post-secondary institutions, I finally found my home at MRU, where I completed a BA in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. Third school, the charm?
    • While at MRU, I made sure to take advantage of all the extracurricular opportunities. I volunteered in the Peer Learning Program, tutoring in Psychology and Philosophy courses. I also participated in the Career Services eCareer Portfolio, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship “Innovation Sprint,” and the Career Mentorship Program — and I even worked casually as an Academic Advising Assistant.
    •  I played competitive hockey from the age of 11 to 21, and I still love staying involved in the game as both a fan and a volunteer coach.

  • Fun facts about me: 
    • I completed my BA in Sociology at MRU, with a minor in Religious Studies. 
    • At the ripe age of three, I first began my Mount Royal journey at the daycare on campus.
    • After graduating, I spent seven months backpacking through Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand.

  • Fun facts about me: 
    • I completed my BA - Anthropology degree at MRU with a minor in English, and my Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary.
    • I lived in residence for my full degree at MRU and made lifelong friends, so I am a huge supporter of living on campus.
    • I love the outdoors - hiking, skiing, backpacking, running, and biking! My fiancé and I are currently converting a 1999 Mitsubishi Delica into a camper van, which we plan to travel with.

  • Fun facts about me: 
    • I was born and raised in the Republic of Moldova - a small, hidden gem in Eastern Europe.
    • I completed a BA in Multi-Ethnic Studies at Boise State University and a Master of Education in Counseling - Student Affairs at Northern Arizona University.
    • My first languages are Russian and Romanian, so I like to say I grew up thinking - and dreaming - in two very different languages.

  • Fun facts about me: 
    • I’ve lived and taught abroad for four years in Kuwait and Qatar, and my students now study at universities all over the world, including right here at MRU!
    • I once met actress Kate Walsh at a famous café in Morocco called Dar el Bacha. 
    • I’ve visited nearly 20 countries so far. One of my most memorable experiences was spending a night under the stars in the Omani desert.

    • I came to Canada in 2012 to study and fell in love with the country, deciding to make it my home away from home.
    • After completing high school in northern B.C, I pursued my undergraduate degree in Business, followed by a Master of Education.
    • My academic and professional journey has taken me from British Columbia to Calgary, where I currently reside. When I'm not working, I enjoy exploring Alberta's wilderness. Looking forward to connecting with future international students!
