Monica Blain holds a Bachelor of Applied Interior Design from Mount Royal University and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Monica's practice spans architecture and interior design and includes experience in residential, multi-family, hospitality, educational and commercial design. Viewing spatial experience through a relational and dialectic lens, Monica seeks to advance understanding of how design shapes well-being with inclusive, expressive, and meaningful environments. She is committed to fostering an empathetic, human-centered approach in both her design and teaching philosophies.
