BIOGRAPHY

Irina Dovbischuk is an Associate Professor of International Business and Supply Chain Management at Mount Royal University. She brings over a decade of academic experience across Canada, Germany, and Ukraine, with teaching and research focused on global business, logistics, sustainability, and supply chain transformation. Her research examines how organizations and supply chains adapt, reorganize, and create social value under conditions of disruption, fragility, and transition. Drawing on the Dynamic Capabilities Framework and Panarchy Theory, she studies resilience-oriented and socially sustainable approaches to supply chain management, with attention to marginalized, conflict-affected, and transitioning contexts. At MRU, Dr. Dovbischuk teaches Global Business Environment, Operations Management, and Global Supply Chain Management. She is also Visiting Professor at Kyiv National Economic University and Uman National University of Horticulture, Adjunct Faculty at National Economics University in Vietnam, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of The International Journal of Logistics Management.
