Minor in Business
The minor in business allows students from programs outside the Bissett School of Business to develop an understanding of the major functional areas of business. Students with a minor in Business will be able to develop their careers with a solid understanding of how organizations are managed.
Consider a minor in Business if
- you can see the benefit of a background in various business functions at an introductory level to assist you in managing organizations in the private, public or social sectors.
- you believe that running an organization (a small business, a non-profit social enterprise, a division of a public institution, and so on) will be important to any of your future job opportunities.
- you foresee fulfilling a managerial function in your future career.
Students pursing the Bachelor of Business Administration are not permitted to receive a minor in Business.
