Jennifer is a registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience centred in the Emergency Department. She spent 12 years as one of the department’s Clinical Nurse Educators and loved the intersection of teaching and patient care. She maintains currency of practice at the Rockyview General Hospital Emergency Department as a casual staff member.

Jennifer’s original goal was medicine, but shortly after her first clinical, found her passion in nursing. She is dedicated to furthering patient and family-centred care, supporting learners to connect theory with practice, and building connections that serve to bridge stressful shifts and difficult situations. Jennifer is a firm believer that there are many ways of knowing and doing, recognizing the benefit in diversity of thoughts and actions. She values connection, teamwork, and most importantly, kindness.
