Kelly Fleming, RN, BN, MSN, has been a contract faculty member with Mount Royal University since August 2012. Prior to her current employment, she was employed as an Instructor in the Columbia College LPN program, and spent 12 years working as a Transition Services Coordinator at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, AB, where her role included coordinating the care of older adults in the community setting. Kelly's teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that nursing education should prepare students not only to deliver safe and competent care, but also to think critically, advocate for patients, and respond to the complex and evolving needs of healthcare systems.
