Sarah is excited to begin a new journey at  Mount Royal University as  Assistant Professor—a place that holds special meaning for over 12 years as a student and community member. With a background in emergency nursing, Sarah has also worked in sexual assault response, transition services, and humanitarian aid. Since 2012, she has supported nursing students through clinical instruction, labs, and simulation-based learning, and more recently through lectures in assessment, pathophysiology, adult health, education, and leadership. Her teaching and research focus on inclusive, flexible approaches that support diverse learners, bridge theory to practice, and enhance clinical judgment through simulation and case studies. Sarah values connection and keeps an open-door policy for students, colleagues, and the wider community.
