Dr. Patricia (Tricia) Prince Joined Mount Royal University in 2000 and has taught in the undergraduate program for over 26 years. Her broad knowledge of the nursing program allows her to facilitate student learning, in the adult clinical environment. Tricia has worked at the bedside in Cardiovascular Surgery and Cardiac Intensive Care and in the Cardiac function Clinic. Her decades of clinical experience allow her to scaffold student learning pulling in knowledge from assessment, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and lab and bringing it to life in the clinical and classroom setting. Her passion for nursing allows for strong role modelling of professionalism, knowledge application, and the development of clinical judgment in the classroom, lab and clinical setting. Her enthusiasm for pathophysiology, pharmacology, nursing process, and development of clinical judgment empowers students to apply their knowledge both in the clinical and classroom settings. Tricia's strengths are her clinical knowledge in the acute care adult setting, her professional demeanour, and her passion and dedication for teaching nursing students at all levels of the undergraduate nursing program. Tricia believes It is a privilege to work with and develop future generations of nursing professionals.
