- Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacotherapy: Principles of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and medication management in acute and primary care. Cardiovascular & Chronic Disease Care: Specialized education in cardiology, cardiometabolic health, and interprofessional management of chronic illnesses.
- Adult Health & Acute Care Nursing: Instruction in complex adult medical-surgical alterations, emergency care, and critical care nursing. Gerontological Nursing: Evidence-based care strategies for aging populations, delirium recognition, and elder safety.

- Gerontology & Older Adults Health: Research on elder abuse screening tools, delirium recognition in acute care, advanced care planning, and specialized vaccination strategies for aging populations.
- Cardiovascular Care & Risk Optimization: Investigation into heart failure management, treatment adherence, hypertensive emergencies, cardiac arrest survival, and transradial vs. transfemoral access outcomes.
- mHealth & Digital Health Interventions: Development and evaluation of mobile health technologies to enhance treatment adherence in heart failure patients and support emergency department screening.
- Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacotherapy: Scholarship on evidence-based medication management for chronic conditions, including cardiometabolic-renal diseases, MASLD/MASH, major depressive disorder, and obesity.
- Nursing Education & Simulation Pedagogy: Mixed-methods research on simulation safety practice tools (SSPT), psychological safety in high-fidelity simulation, clinical reasoning processes, and the student-to-RN transition experience.
- Textbook Development & Pedagogical Scholarship: Authoring and editing award-winning Canadian medical-surgical, pharmacology, and pathophysiology textbooks.
