Everyone deserves access to nutritious and delicious meals. NourishU is designed to provide you with practical skills and knowledge to make smart food choices that fit your student lifestyle, helping you nourish your body and manage your budget.

What to Expect?

Practical Food Education

  • Learn essential tips on grocery shopping, meal preparation, and choosing affordable options.
  • Gain insights that go beyond cooking. Understand how to shop smarter and save money on food.

Hands-On Cooking

  • Cook a balanced, affordable meal with peers guided by a professional chef.
  • Learn basic knife skills and kitchen techniques to build your confidence.
  • Engage with fellow students, ask questions, and share your experiences.  

Who can participate?

Exclusively for MRU Students.

Whether you live on or off campus, NourishU offers a supportive space to enhance your cooking skills and food knowledge. All levels are welcome.

  • Essential cooking tools to support your kitchen journey.
  • A $100 grocery gift card to shop for your next meal.

September Session: Rotini Primavera  

October Session: Chicken and Vegetable Stir-Fry  

November Session: Chicken Vegetable Soup

Menu subject to change. Accommodations for Dietary restrictions available.

 

Join an Upcoming NourishU Session!

Spaces are limited to 30 students per session. Sessions run once a month on Friday afternoons from 3 to 6 p.m. Register early to secure your spot.

 

 

Please note registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive a confirmation email and calendar invite once your spot is secured.
