Everyone deserves access to nutritious and delicious meals. NourishU is designed to provide you with practical skills and knowledge to make smart food choices that fit your student lifestyle, helping you nourish your body and manage your budget.
What to Expect?
In a single, interactive 3-hour session, you will experience:
- Practical Food Education
- Learn the basics of nutrient-dense, budget-friendly cooking.
- Discover practical tips for smart grocery shopping, meal preparation, and choosing affordable options.
- Hands-On Cooking Class & Live Demo
- Cook a balanced, affordable meal with peers guided by a professional chef.
- Learn basic knife skills and kitchen techniques to build your confidence.
- Engage with fellow students, ask questions, and share your experiences.
Who can participate?
Exclusively for MRU Students. Whether you live on or off campus, NourishU offers a supportive space to enhance your cooking skills and food knowledge. All levels are welcome.

Join an Upcoming NourishU Session!
Spaces are limited to 30 students per session. Sessions run once a month on Friday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Register early to secure your spot.
Please note registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive a confirmation email and calendar invite once your spot is secured.
