System notifications

EA Building and surrounding areas offine May 9, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The EA building will be closed and network services will be offline for scheduled maintenance and equipment replacement on Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you experience issues accessing the EA building network after this time, contact the IT Service Desk.


Required hardware update for MRU-managed computers
Information Technology Services (ITS) is applying a required hardware (BIOS) update to university-managed computers on Windows operating systems. This update supports current security requirements, improves system stability and ensures continued compatibility with university technology.

The update takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes and must take place on MRU’s wired network. We recommend completing the update manually at the end of your workday to avoid interruptions. Because updates are not pushed to all devices at the same time, ITS cannot predict when your computer may prompt for installation or a restart.
