Yuriko Tanaka, born in Tokyo, Japan, has been a Japanese Sessional Instructor in the Department of Languages and Cultures at Mount Royal since 1997. She teaches JPNS 1105, 1107 and 2209. Yuriko graduated from the Tokyo Gakugei University in Japan. Yuriko is a member of the Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education and the Southern Alberta Japanese Teachers Association. She is currently the president of the Southern Alberta Japanese Teachers Association.
