Mike Bolder holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Lethbridge, with a specialization in Character Education. For thirty-two years, he has lived his vocation with the Calgary Catholic School District, serving as an elementary and junior high teacher, assistant principal, vice principal, and principal. Among the highlights of his career are the opening of two new schools—an exceptional opportunity to build a culture and climate centered on student success. In 2010, Mike was honoured as one of Canada’s Outstanding Principals.
In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, Mike believes in the importance of mentoring and supporting new teachers as they enter increasingly complex classrooms. He is passionate about helping educators grow in confidence and capacity through reflective practice, thoughtful guidance, and professional collaboration. Mike remains committed to empowering teachers to meet the diverse needs of students and to shaping capable, compassionate, and resilient educators.
