Biography:
Sarah Haughey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Bissett School of Business. Sarah earned her CPA (CA) designation while articling at a mid-sized accounting firm in Calgary. Her accounting firm experience included auditing a wide range of public and private clients. After leaving public practice, Sarah held various senior accounting and finance roles in the construction and oil gas industries before transitioning to academia. Drawing on this extensive professional experience, she brings a practical, industry-informed perspective to the classroom and is passionate about connecting real-world business practices with academic learning.
