Come hear our keynote speaker present on how the finance industry has changed with the growth in diversity and how you should prepare yourself to face the unique challenges and opportunities of a diverse client base.

Presented by Department of Human Resources You’ve heard that the best way to get a job is to network. You’ve also heard that you need to get “out there” and build your network. But no one has taught you how to network until now! Bissett’s HR faculty together with our guest presenter, Hamish Knox, get you started off on the right path with this workshop on networking. Learn the do’s and don’ts, tips and tricks, and the many styles of successful networkers. Space is limited at this session, so arrive early as seats will be first come, first served.

Come listen to a Q&A panel of MRU alumni who are working at public accounting firms or in the industry. The session will wrap up with a networking opportunity for you to speak directly with people who were in your place a couple of years ago, and hear how they got to where they are today.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship is hosting two mixer-style networking sessions. During each mixer, you will have the opportunity to chat with alumni from the innovation and entrepreneurship program who are working as founders, managers of innovation, ecosystem builders and more. You will also have the chance to chat with faculty members who have worked with industry leaders to build courses based on the dynamic capabilities hiring managers look for when recruiting.
These guests will answer the question, "What kind of jobs can I get following graduation with a focus on Innovation and Entrepreneurship?”
