Personal Display Parchment Request
As a proud graduate of Mount Royal University, you may find yourself in need of a secondary parchment to display at home or work. Find out more about this document and whether it is suitable for your needs.
A personal display parchment is meant for display purposes only and is not a legal document.
This document is only used for the purpose of highlighting academic credentials achieved by the individual named on the parchment. Personal display parchments will include a notation stating that they are not legal documents and are for display purposes only. Mount Royal University cannot use or verify personal display parchments for employment, immigration, licensing bodies, student loans, or other educational institutions. Personal display parchments are available only to graduates of Mount Royal University programs.

Why request a personal display parchment?
You may wish to request a personal display parchment if you would like to:
- Display your academic achievement using a chosen name, or
- Display your academic achievement in multiple locations (e.g., home, office)
Request deadlines and timing
Graduating students (Spring convocation)
- Request by May 15: Receive one free personal display parchment with your official parchment at the Spring convocation ceremony.
- Request after May 15 (but before convocation): Still free. Your personal display parchment will be ready approximately 4–6 weeks after Spring convocation ceremonies conclude.
- Request after convocation: Free until April 30 of the year after the convocation ceremony. Your personal display parchment will be ready approximately 4–6 weeks after submitting your request. After April 30, recent graduates will be charged the alumni rate of $50.
Alumni
- $50 per copy
- Requests can be submitted at any time.
- Your personal display parchment will be available approximately 4–6 weeks after your request is submitted, either mailed or available for in-person pickup.
