Scholarly Interests:
My research and teaching interests focus on Canadian Literature, especially on how works by Canadian authors reflect the lived experience of disability. I recently published a book on Miriam Toews.

Teaching Statement:
I have a deep love and commitment to the literature I teach, and I try to pass my knowledge and enthusiasm on to my students. In all my courses, I focus on helping students to learn the basics of literary analysis, how to respond to texts, and how to formulate their opinions in writing.
