When contacting your Academic Advisor, use your Mount Royal email address and include your student ID number. To find your ID number, go to MyMRU>My Program> Student Academic Profile. Select the "Student Academic Profile" link, followed by the "Student Academic Profile" button.
If you’re in Academic Upgrading, Open Studies, University Entrance Option, or you want to switch to a different program at MRU, Faculty-based Advisors for your goal program can support you with course selection, registration and the admission process. Select the Faculty that offers your goal program from the list on this page.
Academic Advisors book appointments 7 days in advance through the links under each Advisor's name. If our website is not showing any appointments available, that means that we are fully booked for that 7-day period. We encourage you to check the Advisors' calendars again the following morning, as new appointments for the following week will become available. Appointments fill up quickly, so we recommend visiting the website as early as you can and checking all the Advisors for both virtual and in-person appointments.
If you’re in Academic Upgrading, Open Studies, University Entrance Option, or you want to switch to a different program at MRU, you can also attend drop-in advising sessions.
